The Seafood Club is a division of English Bay Seafoods Ltd., a supplier of the highest quality seafood to Vancouver’s culinary elites since 2000.

The Seafood Club allows businesses, families, and individuals to have access to the same premium quality products previously only availed to the finest restaurants at the same discount prices. By buying products in case lots, consumers can realize significant savings.

The English Bay Seafood Club is a pioneering milestone in the Seafood industry. Never before has premium seafood been available to the general public at true wholesale prices. The Seafood Club hopes to make seafood more accessible, especially during these tough economic times when every penny counts.

Customers can sign-up for a membership in-store or online. Products through the Seafood Club will be sold in minimum numbers per unit and will be delivered to your home or prepared for in-store pick-up.


English Bay Seafoods Ltd. was established in 2000 by James Hilborn. With over 75 years of family experience in the industry, James Hilborn, the son of WIlliam Hilborn, an industry pioneer, saw the need in the lower mainland market for a quality seafood supplier.

Starting with a small range of custom smoked product, English Bay has expanded into a facility that provides restaurants, resorts, clubs and hotels with the very best seafood to individual specifications. We also specialize in the supply of top quality items to visiting cruise ships, airport visitors and events.

James' background and experience allows him to understand the requirements and needs of Executive Chefs at the best establishments and tailor the stock, processing and delivery to ensure that all products provided are of the highest quality and standard.

The team at English Bay includes qualified chefs, experienced fishermen and industry professionals focusing on the full range of seafood, using our experience and skills to supply our clients with high quality seafood products with innovative creations to tempt the palate.

We are continually enhancing our fresh approach to Pacific seafood with local food sources, typified by delicacies such as Smoked Black Cod, Smoked Sockeye Salmon, Alaska Red King Crab, and Pacific Halibut.

In March 2009 an extensive renovation of the plant was completed, introducing the 'cool-chain' system into the delivery of English Bay products. Once received into the plant, products are kept in temperature-controlled rooms, packed in insulated styros and transported in refrigerated vehicles to your door.
